Supported browsers and devices
LandInsight provides a large, rich map that requires a modern system to run efficiently.
Browsers
LandInsight is designed to work best on Google Chrome, which is the recommended browser. Safari, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge are also supported. Your browser must support WebGL and have Hardware Acceleration enabled.
Devices
While there are no strict minimum requirements, a modern device is recommended. Good options include a Mac Mini, a MacBook Pro, or a Windows laptop (such as a Dell XPS) with 16GB of RAM and a suitable discrete graphics card.
Resolving performance problems
If you are experiencing slow loading times or lag, check the following common causes:
Internet speed A 50Mbps connection is recommended, particularly in busy households or offices with multiple devices sharing the same network.
System resources Reduce the number of open browser tabs to the bare minimum and close heavy background applications such as Zoom or Teams that share your computer's memory and CPU.
Software updates Keep your operating system, web browser, and graphics drivers up to date to ensure optimal performance.
Network setup Avoid using Virtual Machines or connecting via a VPN, as these can severely slow down traffic. Overly strict firewalls or antivirus software can also block legitimate map requests.
Troubleshooting Chrome display issues
If you cannot see map layers or are experiencing functionality issues specifically within Google Chrome, there may be restrictions in your browser settings.
Open a new tab and type chrome://flags into the address bar
Type Blacklist into the search bar
Find the setting titled Override software rendering list and toggle it to Enabled
Relaunch your browser when prompted, then return to LandInsight
