Where can you find Map Controls & Map Tools?

  • Map Controls can be found in the bottom right of your screen

  • Map Tools can be found in the top centre of your screen

If you've been a LandInsight customer for a while, you'll notice that we've moved these around slightly. We chose to do this because we want to make sure your overall map view is as clean, clear and easy to use as possible and this is the first step.

Here's a quick tour of Map Controls & Map Tools in the new layout from one of our Product Managers, Calum.

Google Street View

With Google Street View functionality on LandInsight, you can view sites in a way that's usually reserved for in-person visits only.

Watch our video tutorial below for a quick walk-through on how to use Google Street View on LandInsight.

To use it, simply click and drag the little orange person in the bottom right hand corner onto the map.

From here, you'll have the view as if you were at street level. Plus, you can:

  • Expand Street View to full screen

  • Adjust the split-screen ratio to compare Street View and map data side by side

  • See the Assessment panel whenever you need it

  • Right-click anywhere on the map to select a point and see the indicator within Street View

  • Search for a location while in Street View and watch as the map seamlessly updates to the new address

If you have any feedback, please click the 'Give us feedback' button in the top right of your screen, and if you need any help you can always reach us by starting a support chat under the ? icon.
